Service Philosophy
A prospective or new immigrant's experience with an immigration attorney is often the first contact with an attorney in the United States. The mission of The Law Office of Bonnie Stern Wasser is to make that experience productive, positive and educational. Ms. Wasser also frequently refers new immigrants to an array of professionals and service providers to help ease the transition to living in the United States. The firm's service philosophy is to:
- Deliver high quality services for a reasonable fee resulting in the benefits sought by our clients.
- Provide personal service to all clients insuring that each may work directly with an attorney such as Ms. Wasser. All calls are returned promptly. Ms. Wasser keeps all clients informed about the progress of their cases and empowers them to understand the legal issues, procedures and estimated processing times.
- Keep current on legal, international, economic and political trends impacting immigration policy and laws through constant continuing education;
- Enhance the firm's reputation in the field by serving on bar committees, speaking at local, state and national bar groups, trade and community organizations, and by writing articles for trade journals and specialized publications;
- Develop long lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat and referral business.
- Provide pro bono services for various non-profit organizations and/or their clientele, such as for the Northwest Immigrants Rights Project and the King County Bar Association Neighborhood Immigration Clinic.
